About 5-10cm low density snow around 1000m on the Evelyn runs to 20cm around treeline (1500-1600m). Rain crust from last Thursday was present up to 1600m and likely beyond. Average around 70cm HS at treeline. Lots of windloading on N-NW slopes, showing medium to hard slabs in the immediate lee of the ridge line. Able to ski cut minor slopes and release those slabs.
