Bluebird day, fairly warm (40F), with minimal wind. 11K feet South facing aspect Indian Peaks Wilderness, just south of Mt. Audubon Location: 40.08882, -105.60559
Snowpack
Had snowed several inches two days prior, that snow then received two consecutive days of fairly warm temperatures (above freezing), constant sun exposure, etc. "Hot powder" -- Not quite slush, definitely not yet spring-corn, and certainly not light, fluffy snow. Location: 40.08882, -105.60559
Avalanche
1 minor wet slide, the slide started halfway up the couloir and ran all the way out from the apron -- starting somewhere around 12k feet and finishing at ~11.1k feet. Location: 40.08882, -105.60559
