Weather

Clear and calm. Slight temperature inversion this morning with rapid warming in valley locations early to mid-morning. Temperature warmed to the mid to upper 20's at 11000'.

Snowpack

The snow depth on the east and northeast-facing slopes on Richmond Ridge is generally between 40 and 50 cms. Ski penetration varied but was over 20 cms with very localized, sporadic collapses where the mid-pack is slightly more resistant. The snow on the ground is weak and almost entirely composed of faceted grains. The snow cover obscures the surface roughness and is above most anchors in this area.

Avalanche

None observed with good views up Castle Creek and Conundrum Creek
