Weather

Overcast skies, mild temperatures in the 20sF, and calm to light winds. Very light snow began as the day drew to a close.

Snowpack

Overall mostly solid and supportable despite two week with no precip. On northwest through east aspects below treeline the 20-30cm surface layer is a cohesion-less mix of facet/rounds. Sunny aspects have a variably supportable melt-freeze crust.

Avalanche

Observed avalanche activity has been limited to harmless loose dry snow sluffing.
