Snowpack

Dug a pit on a NE slope while skinning up the typical Henrietta skin track. Snow depth 165cm, around 40cm of depth hoar at the ground. Rest of pack was right side up, no obvious layers within and formed a cohesive slab. Snow pit results were ECTX. When we pried behind block, it failed at the ground. (see image)
