Weather

Skies beacame mostly clear by noon, after a brief convective snow shower. Increasing cloud cover about 1:30 from the west, scattered clouds and filtered sunshine. Winds at treelin and above were visibly blowing the fresh 1-2 inches from overnight

Snowpack

On northerly aspects, the snowpack remained supportive, with only the top 10 to 15 centimeters becoming wet. Aspects with a southerly tilt became more and more unsuppotive as they closed in on straight south. Southeast-facing slopes at 1PM were unsupportive with ski penetration to the ground, although no collapse around my skis. No fresh wet avalnches were seen but Rick Dean reported several wet loose point releases in Maroon Creek since last night
