4” new snow accumulation throughout the day at 11k elevation. Break around 6pm, then snow restarted at sunset. Winds calm below treeline, estimate 10mph above treeline. Minimal wind drifting, no slab creation yet (6pm, Mar 16)

NW 12.5k Baldy (Breck) 10cm new snow, drifts up to 20cm. Hasty shovel tilt test showed sudden planar fracture at 10cm (new snow boundary) with medium-high force taps. Old snow was very frozen. New snow very loose, no signs yet (6pm, Mar 19) of cohesive slab formation in new snow.
