The open face on the Bighorn ascent had tell tales behind the trees up to 5' long. I can't remember ever seeing any signs of wind loading in this area before. Upslope wind on NW treed slope.

In the NW trees descending from the ridge From ground up- HS ~90 cm large grain facets wind slab 5 cm NSF No bonding between layers Its the first time in a long while that I bailed due to "spidey sense" kicking in. In lay man's terms, it just didn't feel right... Stuff on ever turn
