Weather

Clouds increasing throughout the day with light snowfall starting around 3pm.

Snowpack

Generally deep snowpack below treeline with HS ranging from 180-200+cm. We dug a pit on a SE facing slope BTL and found a consolidated, right-side up snowpack with a small layer of buried surface hoar 60cm down. The buried surface hoar was super well bonded to the layers above and below and did not fail in stability tests. CTN, ECTX. Near and above treeline slopes were only observed from a far, but looked super wind-effected and only lee slops and concave gullies were holding snow.
