Rode out by St Elmo Friday and Saturday and there was about 15 inches. The first part of the storm that came in heavy was around 7 or 8 inches and then on Saturday there was that if not more of the lighter snow that fell.
Avalanche
A couple small avalanches noted around Cottonwood from past few days.--- As for avalanche activity, there was quite a bit in the Hancock Pass area, that east facing slope at tree line just below Hancock Pass slide naturally, sometime on Friday. It went big for the slope, with a 8-10 foot crown, this is that same path that went last spring when we had not seen any activity in weeks. On the other side of the pass in Brittle Basin, we were able to see several slides on Saturday, but it was snowing hard enough that we only got short glimpses of the higher terrain. The ones that we saw were on north facing slopes at and above tree line and a couple went relatively big. We also had a smaller path run, that we likely triggered remotely. The crown was above tree line and probably 6-8 feet deep north facing on a steep face, approximately 40 degrees.
