At pass level temperatures were above freezing under partly cloudy skies. Wind light, and no blowing snow observed in the alpine.

Snowpack

The interface between the snow from last week and buried facets continue to be the area of concern. Very little slab was observed below treeline, but long column tests produced easy failures when isolated. A knife hard crust was found on the ground in a protected west facing slope below treeline. This crust was not continuous across the slope and snow depth varied.
