Temps near/ above freezing most of the day. Skies went from broken to overcast early afternoon. Winds seemed to spike shortly after.

Snowpack

Supportable on skis everywhere. Wet snow below about 11600 feet. A few patches of dry snow - West above 12000 feet; NE above 11500 feet. Refroze early afternoon with spike in winds and overcast skies. Thin crusts above settled recent storm snow. Strong winds able to scrape some snow from southerly slopes and drift it across ridges. Avoided main gully on Coon Hill in light of D3 slide to ground on similar aspect< 1m away at Loveland.
