9587 elevation. SE aspect, 10 degrees when we started at trail head. 10974 elevation on SE aspect, 15 degrees when we started descent.
Snowpack
Localized settling of snow underfoot when skinning. When we were looking for a transition spot at the peak there was large and widespread whumpfing at about 11000 feet on a SE aspect and 0-5 degree slope, no movement of the snow but settling was occurring all over the place. On the descent we found some powder stashes that were deep enough for us to not hit any rocks or ground surface, just logs. No snow pit
