Clear skies, temps near to above 0c, Light winds from W. Very excellent day to be in the mountains.

Snowpack

HS BTL ranging from 185-250cm. Compression tests results on south slopes BTL producing moderate and Q3 shears in the upper snowpack (down 10cm and 30cm). On east aspects BTL compression test results produced CTH down 70cm and CTX. On a different east aspect BTL, deep tap test resulted in DTH Q3 145cm down on December mature facets (3mm).

Avalanche

Numerous wet loose avalanches of East facing slopes below 10,200', entraining new snow only. Staring from rock features. R2 D2 N at 12,200 ft on east aspect. Estimated sometime today (20190316). Estimated crown 200', couldn't see entire track or debris pile. R2 D1.5 N at 11,200 ft on east south east aspect. Estimated sometime today (20190316). Estimated crown 100', couldn't see the entire track or debris pile.
