Temperature was about 37 degrees at 8:30am. Sunshine was patchy throughout the afternoon, but warmed snow very quickly.
Avalanche
Many loose wet avalanches from the previous couple of days were visible on south through east facing aspects in the valley on the east side of the Nokhu Crags leading to Breakfast Couloir. Large roller balls, including one about 2ft in diameter were visible as well. After reaching the top of Breakfast Couloir, a large crown was visible on the south-east side of the Nokhu Crags, above Snow Lake, at around 12,000ft. It appeared that a large slab avalanche had run to the bottom of the valley, but we were unable to see the debris at the bottom due to the topography. I would estimate the crown dept to be 2-3ft and it ran 100-200ft up the mountain.
