Highly variable - un bonded fresh powder snow on wind crust or hard snow. In some areas fresh is blown in calf to thigh deep. Photos of massive cornice located at south portion of ridge just before descending then ascending to Grizzly. Continuous separation, almost crevasse like and around two to five feet wide, runs 100' or so, but maybe farther as it undercuts fresh snow and continues around to the north ending at a massive hanging hollow pillow. When this goes, and I'd think that is likely, it will sweep the east aspect. This is one of several cornices that were noted to have separations, both along the ridgeline and off the northeast aspect of Grizzly Peak,
