Snowpack

Saw a crown on the S face of Radiobeacon that appeared to be a day or two old. Looks to be natural. My guess is Saturday 1/6 of the 6-8 inches of new snow on top of the heavily faceted layer from the two week dry spell which I observed below treeline as well. The wind has stiffened the upper snowpack on top of this layer. On Southerly aspects below treeline I observed a sun crust under the new snow.
