Weather
Light snow for the duration of the morning. Wind was light in the valley, but weather stations were reporting stronger winds near ridgeline. Snow started to taper off around noon.
Snowpack
The snowpack is still thin and discontinuous on most slopes. North slopes in the alpine have the best coverage and lots of rocks and grass sticking out on southerly slopes thus far. The foot of snow that fell in this area did little to change the overall avalanche hazard.
