Weather

Mostly clear skies and warm temperatures. Westerly winds 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts on the east side of the range. Calm winds in the upper valley bottoms.

Snowpack

South-facing slopes have little to no snow up to treeline. The snowpack is discontinous on east and west-facing slopes - a mix of bare ground and hard wind drifts along terrain features. North-facing slopes are snow covered - 30 to 50 cm of weak facets below treeline. Above treeline the snowpack is heavily wind affected. Wind rolls across most open slopes.
