Warm and clear, 37 degrees at summit and approximately 41 at road between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM
Snowpack
Frozen / bootpack ascent from 7:00-10:00, 10:30 drop in onto corn snow, by 11:00 was getting wet and heavy, around 11:20 noticed my skis starting to sink and snow getting very loose.
Avalanche
Small wet slough, point release about 2-3 inches deep which broke underneath my ski cut across about a 50' section of slope. No lateral propagation. Snow moved very slowly and was easily managed / skied out of. Occurred at approximately 11:20 around 11,500 on approximately 35-38 degree slope.
