Sunny and warming. Only a shallow freeze overnight.

Snowpack

Persistent dry and warm weather has taken a toll on the already-thin snowpack in this area. Avalanche paths along the 145 corridor are mostly melted out with only a few exceptions (Snow Spurs, paths near Ophir turn). Paths that continue to hold snow do not have enough volume to pose a hazard to the highway.

We continue to see wet slab avalanches that likely ran during the intense warm-up late last week through the weekend.
