Weather

Temperatures were hovering around freeze for most of the morning with clear skies. Generally, light winds from the west with no snow transporting.

Snowpack

Snow height varies anywhere from 20cm to 40cm. On an east aspect above treeline we found a soft slab over facets that are sitting on top of a melt freeze curst from October. ECTN on the slab facet inteface. See snowpit for more further information. We did find that the slab was harder in areas that were favored by previous wind loading. In sunny areas we observered the snow surface warming.
