Weather
Mostly clear day with moderate winds. Very little snow left for transport.
Snowpack
Below treeline was unconsolidated top to bottom with facets and surface hoar. Above treeline very variable. North aspects seemed mostly stripped. East and southeast aspects which were holding snow had a weak faceted surface (good skiing), stiff midpack and weak base. Large variability with 1.5m of snow and then grass a few feet away.
Avalanche
Loose dry avalanche of facets on a road cut.
