Skied on NE-E aspects with about 2 feet of snow and signs of previous wind loading, the snow pack is becoming more “rotten” with large surface hoar forming and rounded facets growing. Think of recycled pow. In shaded areas the surface hoar had grown to 2-3cm and smaller (less than a cm) in NE aspects.
