Weather

The day started off warm with intense solar input. Clouds rolled in mid-day and temps cooled.

Snowpack

We dug at the top of the start zone in a wind-drifted area. HS 155cm with a well developed mid-pack of 4F to 1F- layers that are sintering. Below the bottom of the pack from 55cm to the ground is weak very large-grained depth hoar 4-6mm in size. CTM SC down 20cm on a buried near surface facet layer. ECTP25 down 100cm at the slab DH interface.
