Weather
Above treeline stayed fairly cool with steady moderate wind from the SW. period of lighter wind before noon. Picked up in pm increasing clouds. blowing snow from south and loading / eroding of previous tracks and skin track. coming back down through TL and below hot with above freezing temps and strong solar radiation.
Snowpack
Approx 10 inches dense settled storm snow. Blowing snow had been from south and blowing snow observed streaming down She's easy and Baldy headwall. Entrance on skiers right saddle off of baldy headwall was dense and wind slabby. Near and below TL surface snow was getting hot fast. Base snow was going isothermic on solar aspects. Pin wheels observed and loose wet.
Avalanche
three naturals on N, NE aspects above TL in steep terrain around rock bands. 12000 feet or higher. up to D2 seemed to be no deeper than the storm interface although the largest one was questionable if it went deeper. also observed fairly large loose wet skier trigger in Juans way or similar bowl. still only D1 but fanned out quite a bit.
