Avalanche
We saw a skier track into a large storm slab with a track out. It looked like the slab broke about 4-6 inches deep in wind loaded terrain and then stepped down to a deeper storm slab. We estimated the crown to be about a foot deep but it was hard to tell as we were looking at it from a distance. Later we found out that a friend had triggered it - he was able to ski off of it and said it was slow moving. But it was a large storm slab and surprising (and luckily) - very isolated. I wish the photos were better but we were unable to get close to the slide safely.
