Avalanche

At approximately 10 am on February 8, a group of back country skiers remotely triggered an avalanche in the Back Country adjacent to Beaver Creek ski area known as Stone Creek Bowl. The elevation was 11, 550 ft and the aspect was east northeast. When the avalanche released it was witnessed by the group of skiers in a safe zone. Attached are the photos of the avalanche. The size appeared to be an R2 D2.
