Snowpack

HS 70-120cm depending on aspect and elevation. Dug a pit on forested ENE aspect at 10,280, approximately 30* slope. 100cm HS. Faceted Crust at the ground, topped by about 30cm of F to F+ large grain depth hoar. Faceted midpack of about 30-40cm with decreasing density toward the surface 1F to 4F. Top layers comprised of recent storm snow, 4F to fist. ECTP22 failed on interface of depth hoar and faceted midpack.
