28 at the cameron pass parking lot at 10:30, low 20's with winds out of the NW at 10-15mph.

Snowpack

I dug several hand pits along the edge of the trees, all on N/NE aspect between 11,200' and 11,500'. The pits showed 12"-16" of new and wind transported snow on top of 2"-4" of old snow. The new snow was 4F hardness, the new/old snow interface was K hardness, the old snow to the ground was F hardness. The snow below the bench was "thin" all the way to the parking lot, bring your rock skis and ski light.

Avalanche

No avalanches observed. Lots of settling and shooting cracks on steeper terrain above 11,000'.
