Weather
Cloudy skies with a little sun poking through now and then. Incoming radiation made it feel warmer than it was. Winds were light, variable, and gusty NTL, NW and moderate at ridgetop.
Snowpack
Recent snows have consolidated with warming temperatures. 5 cm of very moist new snow on top of a melt-freeze crust likely formed yesterday. Below this were moist rounds down to the 4/25 interface. Winds were moving a little bit of snow at ridgetop, but nothing lower down. I suspect surface snow is already too moist and consolidated for easy transport. Evidence of prior wind-loading from N and W winds was visible at NTL elevations. There may be some small slabs around at this elevation, but they are unlikely to be reactive for long.
