Weather

Mostly sunny, still staying cold out there. We were on a mostly Western facing slope at around 9600 feet.

Snowpack

Pretty Similar to the "Gem" area from a few days ago. However our test results would lead us to believe that slowly the conditions are stabilizing. I think we have a long ways to go, but trending better. We dug a quick pit on a Western Facing slope at about 9600 feet in elevation. 25cm of storm snow sitting on top of 10-15cm of faceted crystals, with the remaining snow being a fairly dense slab sitting on the dirt. Test Results: ICT11 - Failing at the faceted layer 25cm down from surface. ECT15 - Failing at that same layer. Still some whomping in the meadows. No shooting cracks.

Avalanche

Did not see any.
