Cold air temps with moderate winds and clear skies in the AM. The forecast of winds dissipating by midday was impeccable, with calm, sunny conditions by 1PM. Tshirt temps at the parking lot.
Snowpack
New wind-deposited cold snow on top of melt-freeze with drifts up to 8". Some windslab observed where strong winds overnight built up an almost supportable surface. However, there were no significant signs of instability observed ATL/NTL. Variable Continental skiing conditions at its best. Aspect, timing and temps.
