Weather

Clear skies early gave way to thickening high clouds and increasing SW winds as the morning progressed. Mild temps, winds kept the snow surface firm near TL.

Snowpack

No signs of instability. The significant snow of a week ago has bonded well to the old snow surface in most places on sunny aspects near and below TL.. Descended E-S aspects at noon in good spring conditions.

Avalanche

Recent observed natural avalanche activity along the highway corridor and in the local backcountry has been small and isolated LW slides out of steep, sunny, rocky/cliff locations.
