With out visiting the site it's hard to say but from where we were we could tell it was wind loaded. The slide occured on a leeward ESE face. The avalanche looked to be about 100' wide and ran for about 300'. The crown looked to be about 12-18''. The area that slid is a frequent producer so not that exciting but what was interesting about it was,the skier that triggered it was skining up and buried thier own skin track at the bottom of the slope. A great reminder to be aware of run out zones and choosing safe up hill routes.
