Started overcast, with dark gray lenticulars over the Front Range, and even virga to the east. Leticulars shifted east and decreased, and skies were scattered by 11:00. Ridgetops winds were westerly, and blowing moderate amounts of snow. Off the ridges, the winds were gusty and variable, and light to moderate amounts of snow were coming from almost every direction. Winds kept sensible temps and snow surface cold up high, but it was warm below treeline.
