Cold morning I saw as low as ten below on the lift tower thermo. Calm to no wind. Very clear and sunny. I would guess the temperature never broke 20 but it certainly had been warming throughout the day.

Hard slabs with soft layers in between. Sitting on a hard surface with buried surface hoar on top of the sliding surface.
