NNE aspect at treeline elev 11700: 30 cm storm snow over 1.5 cm SH. Storm snow not consolidated yet. ECTN27 at SH; PST 80/100 (end) Q2 at SH. Slabbiness of storm snow highly variable with aspect and microterrain at treeline on N through E aspects. SH below storm snow absent from S aspect @ 11600' (just below treeline). Small natural loose snow avalanches observed from E cliffbands off of continental divide.
