Morning: Few high clouds, calm winds, temps upper teens at treeline. Early afternoon: Broken high clouds, light northwest wind, temps upper 20's at treeline
Snowpack
HS averaged 90cm. Significant surface hoar growth evident along entire route. Temps were warm enough on Friday to create thin melt-freeze crust on S->SW aspects. Snowpack was supportable with 20-30cm ski pen. No recent signs of instability.
Avalanche
1 older HS slide on east aspect of Ptarmigan Hill, 12,100', ski tracks in area but unknown trigger, broke in cornice, 50' wind, 400' vertical.
