Weather
Mostly sunny, calm winds. Overall very pleasant weather. Some high, thin clouds on 1/25.
Snowpack
N/NW aspects < or = treeline = A variable and thin snowpack, comprised of lots of faceted snow grains, sometimes under and on top of persistent slabs. S/NSFaceting made for nice riding conditions. S aspect < or = to treeline= largely melted out on solar aspects around Last Dollar road. Areas that did have snow on them were crusty and had seen recent liquid water percolation and refreezing. Overall seemed consistent with a moderate avalanche hazard as natural avalanches seemed unlikely but snow pack structure still demonstrated a continued possibility of human triggered dry slab avalanches on shaded aspects.
Avalanche
No recent avalanches were observed over three clear, sunny days.
