Weather

Mostly clear skies, high 20s, calm.

Snowpack

Unconsolidated in the open, shaded areas. Surface hoar had formed on the flats and in open areas on the northerly aspects that i skied, ranging from 4mm in the smaller openings to 15mm on the exposed flats. I experienced collapsing in several flat open areas.

Avalanche

I did not see any avalanche activity on the tour, including the steep east-facing slopes off Burnt Mountain. A scan of the drainages to the south (Maroon & Castle Creeks) didn't turn up any visible activity since the last storm a week ago.
