Snowpack

We were in 50-60cm snow with little slab present. The October snow was present at the bottom and showing as a weak crust with 5-10cm of facets below it. Lots of early season variability out there. Above TL, northerly aspects seem to be the problem areas with the recent storm and loading event a few days ago. Isolated pockets of Wind Slab seem to be present and Persistent Slabs are more widespread in the alpine.
