bluebird, nearly windless, cold.
Snowpack
10200'. 35*aspect. CTE x2 SP on buried s.h. down 25cm. H.S. 70-100cm in similar aspects. Weak results from tests, but no real cohesive slabs over this on northern aspects. they moved to the southern aspects with the recent winds. this s.h. was pretty widespread on any protected aspect in hayes, including some s facing. minor collapsing in southern aspects on s.h. on top of old MF crust. maybe some near crust facets building on/under same crust. thanks, frigidity.
Avalanche
R1 D1 - SS - N - 10000' 35* aspect. started mid slope, well below normal starting zone, which was quite scoured.
