Snowpack

Shady N facing slopes still have 2-3' of well consolidated snow, and a thick, supportable crust. Other aspects are holding little to no snow. Crowns from control on March 2nd are still visible across the rim area. Plenty of snow remains below the cliffs to fill in the talus and provide a good bed surface for loose snow avalanches. The snow surface in the Rim area is frozen very hard, and unlikely to produce WL avalanches without really tropical heat.
