Weather

S-1/S1 off and on all day; strong but gusty winds nearing 50mph, mainly from the W-SW; occasional clearing in cloud cover but mostly overcast all day; occasional white-out. Not sure about air temps, didn't take any, but seemed around the high-20s.

Snowpack

Fresh windslab forming on all lee and crossloaded aspects, as usual. We had maybe 5" overnight but strong winds building new slab quickly. Fairly reactive to weight, not much collapsing but lots of shooting cracks and reactive test slopes.
