Mostly Clear skies with light ridge top winds. Temp at 10,000 @ 9am of 20 deg f.
Snowpack
On northern aspects, Supportive with 10-20cm of low density DF. Probing at 10,600 indicated HS of approx 120cm with bottom ~60cm of depth hoar. Skiing was supportive at this aspect and altitude with no cracking or whumping observed. Snowpit at 11,900 indicated HS of 155cm with 20cm or DF. Bottom 90cm of snowpack is depth hoar with 4F to 1F between 90-135cm. Some very isolated pockets of wind slab observed. CT21 SC on depth hoar at 90cm and ECTP17 SC at 90cm on depth hoar. Care should be taken to avoid these isolated pockets of wind slab as they present ideal strong over weak characteristics. Skiing conditions overall were excellent with some instances of trap door on lower elevation pitches.
