Overcast to scattered. Calm to light winds. S-1 at times. Cold to mild temps.

Snowpack

Snowpack: Below tree line south of Pass, storm totals ranged from 3″-6″, low density, and no concerns except small sluffs. As we increased elevation towards East Maroon Pass, storm totals reached 10″-15″ near and above treeline — a little slabbier due to wind affects , but minimal previous wind loading. Some minor cracking observed on steep rollovers at these elevations. North of pass, storm totals 10"-12" of incohesive snow that settled and became slabbier through the day, producing clean, easy sheers on old crusts in the pm

Avalanche

Numerous L-N-R1-D1/1.5 on various aspects N/btl in east maroon creek area, a couple with soft slab propagation. No slides in Gunnison side.
