Weather
Moderate snow in the morning. A brief break in the early afternoon, then moderate snow kicked back in. 3" additional by 1530. Winds were mostly light, direction was all over the compass.
Snowpack
Low density new snow. Without wind transport, new snow depth was consistent on all aspects near and below TL. Bond to old snow surface seemed mostly good, but loose snow activity should be expected in very steep terrain.
Avalanche
Very limited visibility, Observed shallow, natural loose and storm slab activity within the new snow on Nerly aspects below TL along the highway corridor.
