Crisp morning, 4 degrees F. in the parking lot with it a bit warmer up high. right around 10F.

Snowpack

About 10 inches of sugary snow from the storm that came through a couple weeks ago. with close to 20 inches on new snow on top. The base snow was super sugar with one finger dense snow. You can tell the storm came in warm as the next 5 inches is pretty dense, taking fist strengh, the remainder of snow is pretty light and cold. After isolating a block, we had nothing from wrist, nothing from elbow and then top layer slipped on 4 hard wacks. Layer slipped on that lower crust from previous storm.
