Following are Hwy 550 snow numbers for the latest storm. HN24/water equiv Storm Totals Monument 3”/.3” 10”/.85” Red Mtn Pass 3”/.35” 7.5”/.85” Molas 1”/.1” 9”/.85” (we feel this study plot was very wind affected. (protected areas showed ½ the snow amts). Coal Bank trace 6”/.45” Strong winds continue from the N and NW. There is visible snow moving into high start zones on lee aspects. Notable - Some northerly aspects (esp NE) near and above treeline are actually gaining snow from cross-loading winds. Not seeing widespread avalanche activity so far. We did see a couple of natural avalanches out of the “Railroad” paths on Kendall. 2 - R2D2.5. WNW aspects originating near and above treeline. One may have reached the river.
